Why DMC

The main objectives in Project management are QUALITY, PROGRAMME and BUDGET. These 3 subjects indicates the status of a project. All 3 are directly connected with each other. It is the Project managers task to keep these 3 in balance. Quality will be reached with a good team and a well-organized structure of documents.

One of the first documents that needs to be produced is a program. A program needs to be transparent and everyone needs to be able to understand the program. Our program does not only include the execution of the project but will also clarify the decisions that need to be made upfront by the team. This is connected to the lead times of all the materials. This will help a client to understand to make decisions.

Besides the lead times the program also includes checks. These checks are reminders for when contractors have received an order but also when contractors have send their order confirmation from the manufacturer to the Project manager. It is our task to keep the program comprehensible for everyone.

The program will be used as an amendment on the RFP (request for proposal) and as an amendment on the contract and therefore will function as the most important document of the project. We know that a program on itself does not ensure a perfect project but we understand and know the details that can help.

We believe that quality starts with a good program, but after that quality demands the correct H&S. Demanding the correct PPE (personal protection equipment) ,working with educated people and, making people aware of H&S will guarantee the correct state of mind, a clean site and respect for the construction floor, materials et cetera. This will have a direct influence and enormous impact on the quality of the work. Working internally, where H&S standards are higher than in the NL, and working for petrochemical companies; have made us understand H&S. We can make sure that the money for this is well spend and will be converted into visible quality.
